Saint Patrick’s Day is an annual feast day which celebrates Saint Patrick, the most commonly recognised of the patron saints of Ireland. Green ribbons and shamrocks were worn in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day as early as the 17th century. Saint Patrick is said to have used the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pre-Christian Irish, and the wearing and display of shamrocks and shamrock-inspired designs have become a ubiquitous feature of the day. As such, our collection of Saint Patrick’s Day inspired cufflinks contain many designs incorporating the colour green, as well as other symbols relating to Ireland, such as the four-leaf clover. Perfect for merry-making and celebration.
