Red Cufflinks

Red is often regarded as being the most intense colour.

It is an incredibly strong color that conjures up a range of seemingly conflicting emotions from passionate love to violence and warfare.

A stimulant, red is considered to be the hottest colour. Studies show that red can actually have a physical effect, increasing the rate of respiration and raising blood pressure (hence the expression "seeing red").

Red denotes power, which explains the red power tie used by people in business, as well as the red carpet used for celebrities and VIPs at special events.

Seeing as it is the most eye-catching of colours, red is often used to get people’s attention - whether it is the stop signs and stop lights that are used to alert drivers of the danger of an intersection, or the red flashing lights of an ambulance that denotes an emergency.

In some cultures, red denotes purity, joy, and celebration.

Use the colour red to grab attention and to get people to take action. Use red when you don't want to sink into the background. Use red to suggest speed combined with confidence and perhaps even a dash of danger. A little bit of red goes a long way.
